Mira Kaneva, PhD
Mira Kaneva, PhD, is Assistant Professor in International Law and International Relations at the Faculty of Law, Sofia University ‘St. Kliment Ohridski’, with research interests in: IR theories, foreign policy, diplomacy, and global security. She is a visiting fellow and a Campus France alumnus at the Centre for Migration and Citizenship at the French Institute of International Relations, IFRI, Paris (2016). Mira Kaneva has been a team member of university projects on topics related to: EU soft power and security strategy, polarity and multilateralism, Bulgaria’s involvement in the UN system, EU rule of law. She is member of International Studies Association (ISA). Her publications encompass multiple topics, such as: power, sovereignty and territoriality, borders and mobility, international organizations, European integration, human rights, international ethics, global development.
